Made for everyday use, and made to be repaired rather than replaced.

The seams are flat-felled, which is slower to make and lasts longer.

Made from a single panel, which is why there is no seam across the base.

The finish is oil rather than lacquer and can be refreshed at home.

Tested through a winter on the coast before it went into production.
